Since our first visit 2 years ago some things have changed. A token system now operates on the pier. 12 for 2 rides for 2 kids. The pier has consequently suffered a down turn in profits of 37% last year (Source chamber of commerce)The far end still provides live jazz and overall the pier is worth it but budget an extra 100 for a family of 4. (Food, rides etc). My 3 stars is due to the token system which is either to stop thieving by staff or a blatant attempt at drawing more money from the working class. Either way it's not such good news for the paying public.
