Breathtaking views across the coast of North Wales here. Strange cafe at the top which also holds a weird alien/UFO exhibition.
Very nice place. Wish the weather was better. Will be going back on a sunny day to see the views. Very nice gift shop. Lots of history in the museum part.
Lovely views whichever way you look, the hill of names check it out and the 340 million year old quarry have fun looking for fossils but take care its a bit rocky up there, because it's so high its quite windy most of the time but a great day out for all the family, a cafe and a pub and a game of golf, explore the cemetery for a bit of history and watch out for the goats, sheep spotting is another good one, there's plenty to see and beautiful scenery all around there's loads of photos to be taken have fun here walk, tram ride or even cable car up and down the mountain. Enjoy this huge tourist attraction, there are even mines if you want to explore underground as well.
Great views of the surroundings from the summit of the Orme. It is well worth it to make the drive up here if one is driving around the Orme anyway.Even with a very cloudy afternoon, the sun rays piercing through lighting up parts of the landscape made it really beautiful.It was just sad that some visitors felt it necessary to leave their car doors open with loud music blaring while having a picnic around the car. Didn't bother anyone too much, however it does detract from the natural beauty and serenity of the surroundings.
Fantastic place and Definetly recommend it.we drove up the mountain to the summit.Took a tram all the way back down and walked around the pier and town. We them took the tram back up and went for a walk in the mountains. After walking the children played in the playground at the summit and had ice cream. It was a lovely day .
