I took delivery of my new SLC on May 23rd. This review concerns the Car Care Plan Insurance I was sold just prior to taking delivery. It cost 800 for 36 months' cover and it was explained to me that it was a way of ensuring that the car would be kept in pristine condition in order to preserve its value. In September some nice person decided to put some small scratches on the boot lid. No problem I thought - I am insured! To relate all the problems & frustrations I have had since making my claim in September would take too long to explain but after many delays caused by both Car Care Plan's and their repairers Damage Wizard's lack of response the technician finally turned up in mid December and said that he could not repair it. Having read the policy detail and spoken to the technician I now see that there are so many exclusions that in my view the policy is not worth the money. Accordingly I have today cancelled both policies and I am posting this review so that other people do not waste their money as I have done.
I wouldnt normally have bought from Mercedes Benz but fancied a change. The buying experience has been first class I was made comfortable and was impressed with the informal nature and everything being recorded on tablets. There were things that did go slightly wrong in the process but were quickly sorted out thats what you want.

From start to finish friendly welcoming dealership ,Mark B our salesman was informative knowledgeable and very professional all questions where addressed and we where never pressured into making a sale. We will always return to this dealership as every staff member we had contact with if Mark was unavailable was very approachable.
