lovely place lovely staff good food
This was our second time for a Christmas party as we enjoyed our first time this one didn't dissapoint eitber.We started with fish and chips in the lounge with a beer lovely food and a brilliant view overlooking the sea we also had a sea view room which was lovely.The only downside is the parking ,the car park is small to the size of hotel but you can park outside on street which is free after 4 pm till 10 am next day but be warned the parking officers are out all the time.Overall a great place to stay.
We booked our Christmas party there, we loved it. Hotel was buzzing, great atmosphere! Well organised, but not regimented. Food lovely and piping hot, served very efficiently by polite, attentive staff. Good music, great fun evening. This was our fourth booking! It won't be the last!
We stayed for two nights and found the room very comfortable. The toilet took an age to fill very noisily. Other rooms nearby were the same which gave a disturbed night sleep.Breakfast the first morning was very good, but the second mornings had been cooked far to early and was dried up. Not very good for four star rating.The staff were very good and friendly
We stayed at this hotel last week for one night, and we were given a very small bedroom in the back, looking out to a flat roof and a yard...not very nice. The bathroom was very small ,good shower though, whenever you were washing in the sink you would go bump to the wall behind! No toilet brush. For a four star well you would think there was one. The curtains were dirty with marks on them. There were gaps round the door which at night a lot of light came in to the bedroom making it difficult to sleep. If a fire had broken out in the corridor flames would easily come through, especially underneath.very old fashioned furniture. Must say that the breakfast was really good in a lovely dining room and we had a lovely bar meal in the evening served by a lovely waiter. The room was 107.
