Was friendly Hotel But was in process of Renovations on our stay at Hotel great Location nice Breakfast so if you're Looking for Basic hotel this is fine and not to Expensive ( No Lift Stairs only) But would Book again Due to Location
For a short stay in Llandudno you can't go wrong with a room at the Elsinore, rooms are clean and you get a good breakfast. Parking is free on the prom 4pm - 10am which is perfect.
First of all this hotel is a "Work in progress" I was a bit worried at first as the reception is a bit outdated as some reviews have said. And yes the banisters are quite filthy, there are wires showing overhead and hidden behind temporary covers. But once we went into our room, it was very clean and modern with great sea view windows. Breakfast was just about right, full English and one of everything, + cornflakes, rice crispies, Coffee, Toast, Jam. The Receptionist was a lovely lady, very helpful and really couldn't do enough for you. All in all the price is quite cheap. spent two nights here and would stay here again, by them i'm sure the stairs will have been finished.
Don't judge on first impressions. Bedroom n ensuite spotless. Entrance tired but clean. Staff brilliant. Breakfast good but need new toasters!! Lovely fresh smell everywhere. Would stay again.
Comfortable rooms by no means luxurious if that's what you want ,however our room was clean and tidy with a new bathroom and the bed and pillows were clean a comfortable. Nice big wardrobe, drawers and a dressing table so plenty of storage space. Staff were lovely and the cooked breakfast in the morning was very nice. Needs a little renovation on the stairway and foyer but seems to be in the process of some refurbishment. All in all a lovely hotel on the sea front and worth every penny. We'll definitely stay again.
